Math Functions Modules

The Adtech Model ADB 51 Analog Divider Module offers
an accurate and economical means of accepting two process inputs and dividing
one by the other. It provides a standard process current or voltage signal
output with a maximum of 10 mV P/P output ripple representing the computation.
The ADB 51 offers a convenient way of interfacing signals to a computer system
or other process instrumentation for improved resolution.
Specifying option O44 provides a pulse rate output along with the standard
analog output.
Recalibration to other desired ranges is accomplished easily.

Model ALM 00
The Adtech Model ALM 00 Analog Linearizer Module
offers an accurate and economical means of converting whole or fractional power
functions into linear outputs such as linear flow outputs from flumes and weirs.
It provides standard process current or voltage signals on the output with a
maximum of 10mV P/P output ripple.
The standard model handles monotonic functions such as root extraction and power
functions.
The Adtech Model ALM-00-042 Analog Linearizer Module (see
picture for ALM 00) offers an accurate and economical means of
converting whole or fractional power functions into linear outputs such as
linear flow outputs from flumes and weirs. It provides a standard process
current or voltage signal output with a maximum of 10mV P/P output ripple.
10-segment breakpoint linearizer, Option O42, provides easy calibration with
each segment allowing an increase or decrease of slope with the center position
of the potentiometer providing a gain of one.
The Adtech Model ALM-00-O43 Analog Linearizer Module
The Adtech Model ALM-00-O43 Analog Linearizer Module
(see picture for ALM 00) offers an accurate and economical
means of converting whole or fractional power functions into linear outputs such
as linear flow outputs from flumes and weirs. It provides a standard process
current or voltage signal output with a maximum of 10 mV P/P output ripple.
Option O43 provides logarithmic functions on a continuous calculation method and
the output may be the log of input or antilog of input.

Model ASM 54
The Adtech Model ASM 54 Adder Subtractor Module
provides an accurate and economical means of adding and/or subtracting up to
four process signal inputs to provide a standard process current or voltage
signal output with a maximum of 10 mV P/P output ripple that represents the sum
and/or difference of the inputs.
An exclusive feature eliminates the need to change any internal components or
wiring when converting any of the four inputs from an adding or subtracting
mode.
The ASM offers a convenient way of interfacing the sum or difference of signals
to a computer system or other process instrumentation.

The Adtech Model AXB 53 Analog Multiplier Module
(see ASM 54 for picture) provides an accurate and economical means of
accepting two process inputs and multiplying one by the other. It provides a
standard process current or voltage signal output with a maximum of 10 mV P/P
output ripple that represents the computation.
The AXB 53 offers an easy and practical way of interfacing process signals to a
computer system or other instrumentation for improved resolution.
Recalibration to other desired ranges is accomplished easily.

Model LLM 64
The Adtech Model LLM 64 Lead/Lag Module
offers an accurate and economical means of producing a phase lead or phase lag
between an input current or voltage signal and provides a standard process
current or voltage signal output with a maximum of 10 mV P/P output ripple. It
utilizes precise digital techniques to do this function.
Recalibration to other desired ranges is accomplished easily.

The Adtech Model MDB 52 Analog Multiplier/Divider Module
accepts up to three (3) process signal inputs and performs one of the following
computations: multiply/divide, multiply, divide, square root and the square root
of ratio or product. (Refer to the"Basic Equations" section on the Product Data
Bulletin). An exclusive output option (O44) provides a pulse rate output
along with the standard analog output.
The MDB 52 provides standard process current or voltage signals on the output
with a maximum of 10 mV P/P output ripple.
Recalibration to other desired ranges is accomplished easily.
The Adtech Model PSM 57 Pulse Summing Module
( MDB 52 for picture) provides an accurate and economical means of adding
(summing or counting up) multiple contact closure or pulse rate inputs to a
single output pulse rate representing the sum of the inputs. The PSM 57 may also
be configured to subtract multiple inputs.
The PSM 57 is supplied with three of the four inputs "A, B and C",
each set up for two decades of scaling per input as standard with no scaling for
input "D". The minimum "discrimination time" between input
pulses is 0.01 milliseconds.

The Adtech Model SCX 102 Loop Powered Isolator/Repeater
provides a solution for ground loops and problems encountered in connecting
together recorders, process control systems and computers.
The SCX 102 accepts a 4-20 mA signal and provides an isolated 4-20 mA output.
Operating power is derived from the input signal so no external power source is
required.
DIN mounting is supplied as standard. Surface mount (Option H26) or snap track
mount (Option H25) are available at no extra cost (specify).
